Yeah, instead the audience is treated to a lukewarm glass of pseudo-romance without any punch, emotion or storyline was very, very weak, and I have to admit that I was asking myself 'is this seriously all the movie have to offer?' a couple of times throughout the course of the 92 minutes that the movie ran for. And with so little solid contents to the storyline, believe me the movie felt rather it didn't exactly help much that most of the characters were bland and one-dimensional. So many of the characters are individuals you never taking a liking to or an interest in, simply because they are just there on the screen without having much of any memorable impact through the storyline."London Sweeties" could have been so much more if the directors had gone full heads-on with the language barrier and inability to speak and understand proper English, because it could have lead to a bunch of awkward and hilarious situations.
